Created Card Game

This is a card game that can be played with a simple deck of cards, one die,and either a piece of paper and a pen, or poker chips. It was a blast to make. This one I made individually and I have another that I created for a team project. Please Enjoy.

GRATIS Outline

Goals

  •  Players are trying to make multiples of 5’s (5, 10, 15, …) by adding cards together. For every multiple of 5 you get you will earn a token. At the end of the round the person with the most tokens wins. You can change the game up yourself by adding person to X number of tokens win if you wish to play multiple games.

Rules

  • Each player draws 6 cards from the draw pile.

  • The person in seat two will go first and they place a card down to start game and create discard pile.

  • Give one token to yourself for each 5 you make.

    • Example: 5(1 token) 10(2 token) etc...

  • King: is worth 2 tokens or you can try your luck with a roll to possibly double points or not get any points.

    • Rolling a 1 you keep the 2 points, rolling 2 doubles your points (4), and rolling a skull you get no points (0).

    • If you Place a King on a stack already being made (Example: PA places 4 and PB does 6 it equals 10, PC puts down 10 and rolls a skull PC gets (0 points) but if he rolls a 2 he gets a 40 (6 points).

  • Queen: Equals 10 (2 points) they do not stack with other queens, but you can stack 5 and 10 cards on top of them.

    • Example: player A plays a Queen Which Equals 10(2T) then player B plays a that equals 5(1T) so player A gets 2 tokens and player B get 3 tokens. But if the next player plays a Queen then they only get 2 tokens not 5.

  • Jack: Can be changed to a random number card.

  • Ace: Equals 1 or -1.

    • Example PA places a 4, PB places an Ace making it 5(4 + 1) or PA plays a 6 and PB places an ACE making it a 5(6 - 1)

  • Joker: turn into a random number card that is not 5 or 10 or don’t affect the count at all and Take 1 token from every other player in the game.

  •  Placing a 5 or 10 card on a King or Queen will result in 15(3p) or 20(4p)

  •  2 cards that add up to a 5(5,10,15…) will earn you points (1,2,3…)

    • Examples: 3 and 7= 10 (2p) or 1 and 4=5 (1p) or 7 and 8 = 15 (3p)

  •  If you have two cards that add up to a 5’s and you lay down a 5 or 10 you add the 5 or 10

    • (Example 2 and 3 = 5 lay down a 5 = 10) (2p)

  •  The discard pile will be shuffled back into the deck after the first time the Draw pile is empty. After the second time the draw pile is empty you will play till all of the cards are out of your hands then tally up the points to see who wins.
